Feedlot Producers and Veterinary Practitioners

Provide to participating feedlot producers and veterinary practitioners, confidential, individualized reports of their feedlot’s AMU/AMR results in comparison to the national benchmark.

KTT

Make the KTT above available to other feedlot producers, bovine practitioners, beef industry, Public Health Agency of Canada via their preferred delivery methods: CFAASP website, beef industry and bovine veterinary association websites and newsletters, CIPARS annual reports.

Further Research

We work with other researchers to share information and bacterial isolates for further research, such as genetic testing, to improve our understanding of the development and spread of antimicrobial resistance.

Knowledge Translation and Transfer (KTT)

 

We convert surveillance results into useful information for participating feedlot producers and veterinarians, the Canadian beef industry, bovine practitioners, researchers, Public Health Agency of Canada, and other stakeholders (e.g., reports, infographics/fact sheets, webinars, podcasts).
