Feed Antimicrobial Use in Canadian Feedlot Cattle: CFAASP 2024

In 20204, antimicrobial use data (AMU) were collected from 21 finishing feedlots in AB, ON, and SK, with 95% of all AMs used being administered in the feed. From 2019-2024, 56% of feed AMU not including ionophores was for liver abscess and control.
